GPS Device Rental for Backcountry and Mountaineering 👋

Welcome to Yamabayashi Navi.com.
This site offers GPS device rentals for those involved in forestry and mountaineering, as well as international climbers.
I have been using GPS devices myself since my student days for field surveys, and have continued to use them for mountaineering in snowy mountains and overseas expeditions even after graduation.
Currently, since I am not making full use of my GPS devices outside of mountaineering in snowy mountains or during long vacations,
I am renting them out to those who need them.
The devices available for rental are as follows.

Garmin GPS Map 66s

This is a handheld GPS device from Garmin released in 2018. Features: Multi-GNSS Support: Compatible with three satellite positioning systems—GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO—it can obtain accurate location data even in forested areas and deep valleys. It is rugged and highly accurate, and compared to the previous model, the Garmin GPS Map 64, the display has been enlarged to 3 inches, improving visibility. Battery: Runs for approximately 16 hours on two AA batteries. Since you can add or replace batteries, you can use it with confidence even in mountainous areas without power sources. Personally, I think the fact that the batteries can be replaced with standard alkaline batteries is a key selling point. While most GPS devices currently on the market use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, this is one of the last models that can run on regular alkaline batteries. Even in environments where charging isn’t possible, or in the unlikely event that the batteries run out, you can simply swap them out and use the device immediately. As long as you have spare alkaline batteries on hand, you can use it for extended periods. In low-temperature environments, such as when climbing snow-covered mountains, you can also use lithium batteries. $80/week $300/week Please contact us ...
